Located in the heart of the Pinehurst golf region, Little River is a challenging, yet friendly course. A Golf Digest "Award Winner", it was chosen by Washington Golf Monthly as "A Best New Course for 1996" after being established by renowned course architect Dan Maples.
Maples, born near the waters of Little River, drew on his local knowledge to give the course a unique identity. Sculptured from 450 acres of rolling hills and featuring nearly 200ft elevation changes, the course offers narrow rivers and thick forests, mostly in its natural state, without housing visibility anywhere, offering lush fairways, a full variety of shot values and true rolling greens.
The 20,000ft clubhouse overlooks lakes and forest and offers full service restaurant and bar, golf shop, locker rooms with showers, full banqueting facilities, wireless internet and 24-hour front desk service.
Already a landmark in the world of equestrian sports, Little River has now become a legend among world-class golf resorts.
