Oceanico Golf Ladies Week 2011 ends in great style
04/11/2011 - The second Oceanico Golf Ladies Week proved to be another great Oceanico success. Competitors enthused about their programme and praised the course conditions and the organisation.
The second Oceanico Golf Ladies Week proved to be another great Oceanico success. Competitors enthused about their programme and praised the course conditions and the organisation.
The programme, specifically designed for women, attracted ladies from the UK, Ireland and Portugal and was held at Oceanico Golf’s distinguished facilities in Vilamoura and at the award winning Amendoeira Golf Resort. The format combined the golf competition with golf tuition, a Wellness and Beauty workshop and a fun and relaxed social programme.
The overall Champion of the 2011 Oceanico Golf Ladies Week was returning player Julie Delahunty-Moore from Ireland. She was overjoyed with the week’s event and said:
"It was a great week. I had a great time with my girlfriends and we were spoilt by the Oceanico team. This event has everything; Oceanico brings together top class golf, fabulous food & drink and a great social atmosphere, forming some real camaraderie with your fellow competitors. This was our second time out here and for sure it will be on our calendars to come out again next year."
