Oceanico are pleased to announce that the GAA Kerry team chose the Amendoeira Sports Club for their week of warm weather training and are looking forward to welcoming the team on Wednesday 31st March 2010.
The award-winning Amendoeira Golf Resort is set on a 640-acre area of natural beauty in the central Algarve, close to the historical town of Silves.
Oceanico are pleased to announce that the GAA Kerry team chose the Amendoeira Sports Club for their week of warm weather training and are looking forward to welcoming the team on Wednesday 31st March 2010.
Their intensive training program includes two daily training sessions on the full size natural grass pitch as well as weight training at the Amendoeira Sports Club gymnasium. To unwind at the end of the day, the team might enjoy a round of golf on the two on-site championship golf courses. Amendoeira Sports Club also offers two five-a-side pitches; six tennis court (two floodlit); beach volleyball; two lawn bowling greens (one crown and one flat); a gymnasium; a physio room and spacious locker rooms. Spectators will also be able to enjoy the comfortable bar and café for refreshments or a game of pool after the match.
Just 35 minutes from Faro airport, this prestigious resort is one of the most stunning golf resorts in Europe; it boasts two championship golf courses, one designed by Sir Nick Faldo and the other designed by Christy O’Connor Jnr., complemented by the Oceanico Academy nine hole, par three floodlit course, the majestic clubhouse and the Amendoeira Golf Academy & Callaway Fitting Suite.
Oceanico is no stranger to welcoming sports professional players / teams at its luxurious resorts.
