Amendoeira Golf Academy & Callaway Fitting Suite
The Amendoeira Golf Academy offers a wide variety of training programmes to meet the needs of men, women, and juniors. These programmes cater for every standard of golfer from beginner to amateur, competitor to touring professional. Whatever your age or ability, there is a programme for you. They all feature a maximum 5:1 student to teacher ratio to allow for plenty of personalised instruction designed to deliver maximum results within the time available.
Along with technical proficiency, our instructors will help promote mental efficiency, equipment evaluation, equipment fitting, quality nutrition and physical fitness. At the end of the lesson players will receive a personalised CD/DVD of the lesson. This will include; the original swing and the analysis which will be compared with a professional swing, the drills prescribed by the instructor and a final comparison of the original swing to the new swing.
The Perfect Fit
No matter what your level of play – our state of the art Callaway Fitting Suite offers an opportunity like no other. Our trajectory software is used to capture swing and ball information for the most precise fitting available. Your one on one fitting experience will be conducted by a Callaway trained specialist allowing the fitter to recommend the ideal Callaway clubs for your game.
The fitting will occur in our state of the art fit bay that utilizes the Trackman Launch Monitor and Callaway Golf's revolutionary OptiFit Technology that will display your launch conditions-ball speed, launch angle and spin rates. You can be custom fit for woods, irons or both. Our proprietary OptiFit Fitting System allows you to try our drivers and irons with a variety of shaft and club head combinations in a matter of minutes. You'll leave the appointment with your custom specifications.

Amendoeira Golf Resort
Amendoeira Golf Resort offers accommodation in spacious apartments with communal pools and luxury villas with private pools. All properties enjoy an elevated hillside setting offering magnificent views across the golf courses or countryside.
The on-site facilities include two championship golf courses, the Oceânico Faldo Course and the Oceânico O'Connor Jnr. course, which are complemented by a magnificent clubhouse with restaurant and bar. The Amendoeira Sports Club boasts international standard facilities, which include; a full size football pitch, five-a-side Astroturf football pitches, tennis courts, lawn bowling greens – one crown and one flat – beach volleyball, cricket and a state of the art gymnasium.
